We need your help to build!

"To train good Christians and honest citizens", such is the inspirational maxim of the Salesian Society of Saint John Bosco. The Fraternity of Saint Peter has adopted it too in its evangelisation work in Colombia with an educational aim.

All this requires work being done with a view to have the correct accommodation. Here are below the plans of our building projects.

a) School/touristical farm Saint Martin de Porres: the first phase of works was finished last April. Our farm offers the necessary infrastructure for the education of our young peasants both in terms of animal breeding and perennial or annual cultivation. Thus, not only our structure is self sufficient but it allows us to give the youth the opportunity to learn a proper job. By receiving, in this way, groups of children, youths, or adults, this farm has also a touristical aim as well as teaching.

b) Saint Martin de Porres House: "Men do not only need bread". The priests of the Fraternity of Saint Peter develop a very important apostolic work, educational and social in addition to the year of vocational discernment offered to young priestly candidates. At the moment, they live in a small prefabricated house already so small and in a very old state. If God allows us we shall start to build a new house and chapel by the second half of 2009.

c) Centre for Studies Saint Martin de Porres: this is the third phase of the building project in view to be able to offer a school and a centre for further education for the youth of Anolaima and its region. Here like everywhere, totally private education is an emergency...

Any donation, even very modest, enables us to progress in the realisation of this project and our pastoral work.

The third of each month, the priests of the Saint Martin de Porres House celebrate mass for the sake of our benefactors alive or deceased.

In the name of all those who are currently enjoying your generosity, thank you and may God give it back to you a hundred times!
